Bug Description

Hello,

xserver-xorg-video-ati (xf86-video-ati) in vivid is still at version 7.4.0 (at the time of writing this), see:

http://packages.ubuntu.com/vivid/xserver-xorg-video-ati

But the latest version (at the time of writing this) is 7.5.0, see:

http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati/

Debian already has 7.5.0, see:

https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=xserver-xorg-video-ati&searchon=names&suite=all&section=all

So, could you please update Ubuntu to also have the latest version of xserver-xorg-video-ati (xf86-video-ati)?

It would be much appreciated.

Regards

Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.

I see that the current version in Vivid is 1:7.4.0-2ubuntu2 which indicates it has some Ubuntu-specific patches. Someone will likely have merge those with the latest package from Debian.
