Bug Description

Don't know what's happening and what is responsible. I've installed Xubuntu 14.04 32bit. I'm working on 4 desktops (2 of them have Chromium with few Thunar and gedit and the other 2 have full screen emacs) and sometime when I do something in Chronium everything disappear and some part of the screen show current desktop and some show youtube video I was watching in the morning.

I have ATI Radeon based laptop, default installation not properitary drivers (when I search for them I got message that it didn't found any).

I read that my video card is supported by default drivers. lspci show:

01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RS880M [Mobility Radeon HD 4225/4250]

For me it look like corrupted video memory that show different data (saved when I watch youtube). Maybe it's drivers fault. I'm able to fix the issue for a while when I click show desktop icon. Don't know what's triggering this, sometime it look like everything is working fine.

Before 14.04 I had 13.04 64bit version and everything was working fine, didn't have enough space to upgrade. But back then I had ATI catalysis drivers.

It work when I remove compositions (I dind't use them on 13.04). Maybe it's a bug in compositions.

Also get this when I run gimp (but in random places, like when I left click in layer or change curve points).
