Hey,

I have a SONY Vaio VPCE and have the same story, it worked in 10.10 but isn't in 11.04.

I have the same issue with my Acer 532h. On the old Ubuntu release it was treated as a PS2 mouse with no touchpad options, and now it is treated as a touchpad with no scrolling. The fix to set it as IMPS is horrible because you do not get the touchpad features like disabling touchpad will typing (which is a must have feature).

Thank you for reporting this bug and help making Ubuntu better. Sadly, not always we have capacity to triage bugs on time. Please help us documenting this bu by running the following commands from your Terminal9Ctrl+Alt+T):
apport-collect 773160
xev > ~/xev.log

the 2nd command will will open a window with a box inside it, please stay inside that box and try to test any problematic features you may have, then hit Alt+F4, and attach/upload the file 'xev.log' from your Home directory to this report.

Thanks
