touchpad tapping not working

After upgrading from Jaunty to Karmic alpha 2, after 2 or 3 days of daily updates... tap-to-click does not work anymore. I have a 32-bit Ubuntu Jaunty dist-upgraded to Karmic Koala on a Compaq Presario F730 US. Side scroll works fine.

Same problem over here, Toshiba A205-S5812.
Scroll and buttons work ok, only tapping stopped working

Please could you attach the outputs of the following commands:

cd /var/lib/acpi-support/; grep '.' *-* > ~/laptop
uname -a > ~/uname-a
cat /proc/version_signature > ~/version_signature
sudo lspci -vvnn > ~/lspci-vvnn
lshal > ~/lshal
dmesg > ~/dmesg
cat /proc/bus/input/devices > ~/devices

and could you also attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Same thing happened to me through some patch yesterday or something
Everything works except tapping.
Model: HP 6730s.
