Bug Description

The package xserver-xorg-input-synaptics needs to be updated in the Ubuntu repositories.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad E460 with a ClickPad. The click pad works perfectly on Windows10.
On Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS the mouse behaves properly except when drag and dropping in the following way:

1) Press left button "under" the clickpad with a finger
2) Move another finger across the touchpad.

When I do that, the mouse simply jumps around to the corners of the screen. It probably can't tell which finger is moving.

But If I do the following it works:

1) Press left *physical* button (this Thinkpad has physical buttons on top of the clickpad)
2) Move a finger across the touchpad.

So clearly the problem is with the driver of the clickpad.

The solution I found requires installing xserver-xorg-input-synaptics version 1.9.0 instead of the 1.8.3 that comes by default with Ubuntu. When installing that version (taken from Debian Stretch repo) it all worked again. Note that this version is the same that Fedora 25 ships by default.

When updating to 1.9.0, a bunch of pacakges needed to get new versions as well. Listed below:

Upgraded the following packages:
libgcrypt20 (1.6.5-2ubuntu0.2) to 1.7.6-1
libinput10 (1.2.3-1ubuntu1) to 1.6.0-1
libwacom-bin (0.18-1) to 0.22-1
libwacom-common (0.18-1) to 0.22-1
libwacom2 (0.18-1) to 0.22-1

Installed the following packages:
libinput-bin (1.6.0-1)
libxcb-util0 (0.3.8-3)
libxfont2 (1:2.0.1-3)
ubuntu-desktop (1.361)

xserver-xorg-video-vesa (1:2.3.4-1+b2)
xserver-xorg-video-vmware (1:13.2.1-1+b1)

It seems the bug is already solved in the package but this package is not yet available from Ubuntu repositories. Please release it.
