Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-mouse

The /var/log/Xorg.0.log file shows that Xorg is detecting the touchscreen as a mouse device, but when running, the Xorg mouse pointer does not respond to the touchscreen.

Running an upstream 2.6.34 kernel.org kernel, the touchscreen starts to do something, but not anything correct or useful. Touching the screen causes nautilus to open a bunch of Trash browser windows and continue opening more until nautilus was killed (I was logged in via ssh as well).
