Bug Description

mouse pointer gets crazy and flies all over the screen and randomly clicks everything!
i have installed all possible updates but the problem persists! i don't know what
causes it because it doesn't happens all the time...i could say it's a hardware problem
because i use an old video card NVIDIA GeForce 440 which is possible to be faulty
or a memory error...i don't know what to think!

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

I experienced the same problem with my IntelliMouse 1.3A PS/2 compatible. Which mouse do you use?

is there any fix? the problem persists and it's very annoying...i'm sure it's not an interference to my wireless mouse
or a faulty one...but still i'm not sure if it is possible to be a hardware problem...but as i can see pany people face
the same problem.

Hi this seems to be a duplicate of bug #119194 and bug #34501

Can you please post the output of dmesg | grep mouse

Also can you confirm if this behaviour is present in hardy?

thanks
