Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

When the keyboard is not plugged in, the system operates normally; plugging in the keyboard at any time consistently produces a segmentation fault. This did not happen in Maverick; it happens consistently in Natty, however.

The relevant logs produced by naively running "sudo X" from a terminal are attached.

Please note that Apport did not log the crash; the following files are generated by running `ubuntu-bug -p xorg` after the fact manually.

This also happens with a 'Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600' keyboard but when I plug in another keyboard (Labtec) it doesn't crash.

I should have said this started to happen after upgrading xserver-xorg-input-evdev:i386 (2.6.0-1ubuntu6, 2.6.0-1ubuntu8)
