Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-elographics

After upgrading to natty (from maverick), the serial input for the elographics driver does not work. However, Xorg does recognize it.... it's just that touching the screen does nothing.

Can anyone help? This problem affects also newest versions of Ubuntu (11.10 and 11.04). The elographics / elotouch driver is in repository but it doesn't work at all. How can I fix it? Maybe there is other driver, which can handle the touchscreens connected to COM port.
