Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-aiptek

after upgrading to Lucid, my 12000U doesn't work anymore (it worked perfectly in hardy)
At boot it is recognized and moving the stylus in proximity of the tablet works, buttons anyway seems not to be working and when i touch the tablet with pen-tip for the first time, then proximity doesn't work anymore and the cursor is moved only if I move the stylus touching the tablet.
evtest reports correctly the events, but they are not correctly catched by xserver probably

another thought: hasn't hal been deprecated on Lucid? so, am I supposed to set udev rules instead than hal policy file?

I use an Aiptek-like tablet (Trust TB-2100) and this bug affects me also.

I have exactly the same problem, only with an Aiptek Slim Tablet 600u.
