Bug Description
Hi
i installed xserver-xgl on my current drapper-amd64 box. When i start
xserver-xgl with the following command a new screen appears representing
the xserver (Xglx :1 -ac -screen 1024x768). However when i try to start
an application for the new screen i get the following output:
DISPLAY=:1 icewm
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for
operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 2 (X_ChangeWindow
Value in failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 8
Current serial number in ouput stream: 9
The screen representing the xserver remains on screen. 3d-acceleration works
fine with the opensource dri-drivers (r300). I also noticed
this behaviour some months ago when playing with then selfcompiled Xglx
on an Debian-amd64-box. However when i compiled the whole xserver-stuff
as 32-bit it would run. So it seems that this is an upstream problem
regarding amd64. I would like to help, however i need some advice on
setting up debug, or backtraces.
cheers Jan Kreuzer

Hi,
Does this bug still occur when using the latest Dapper packages?
Sorry for the delayed response. This bug must have been hiding all this while ;)
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
