Bug Description

The Xsensors program will STILL not run even now that Hardy is on version 8.04.1.

The installation seems to go fine, it places the item on the menu but it will not run even after running sensors-detect and doing machine restart.

Thanks.

Xsensors by default seek lm_sensors configuration file on /etc/sensors.conf location, but in Hardy is /etc/sensors3.conf

You can try to run `xsensors -c / etc/sensors3.conf`, but I still do not see the program window

Changed in xsensors:
status: New → Confirmed

Isn't this a duplicate of bug#206280?

It would seem a backport is a good idea here.
