Bug Description
I am experiencing the same symptoms as described in https:/
I run Xubuntu with XFCE, xscreensaver and Light Locker. Recently, whenever I log back (twice, once through locker and once through xscreensaver), the X11 applications are not accepting keyboard input. I can switch desktops using keyboard shortcuts, though. What fixes the issue for me is switching into a Terminal window. Then the keyboard input start working.

I have one more bit of information to add. I have just logged in and clicked into and Emacs X11 window. The cursor in Emacs moved to the place I have clicked onto but it stayed unfilled which means the Emacs X11 window does not have focus. So, it seems like this whole issue has something to do with focus.
