Missing german translation for an option

I'm using Ubuntu 15.04 dev with xscreensaver 5.30-1ubuntu1 and I'm noticing that the option "Quick Power-off in Blank Only Mode" in xscreensaver-demo in the register "Advanced" isn't translated into german.

Strange, because the string seems to have been translated quite some time back (https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/vivid/+source/xscreensaver/+pots/xscreensaver/de/193/+translate).

OTOH, the PO files in the source package seem not to have been updated for ages.

How is this workflow meant to work? I believe the translation teams should send the updated translations upstream? Do they routinely check if some random user has contributed some translation fixes in translations.launchpad.net?

Probably not. It's not clear to me why xscreensaver is at all enabled for translation at Launchpad.
