Bug Description
I'm using Ubuntu 13.10 dev with xscreensaver 5.15-3ubuntu1. The option passwdTimeout controls how long the input screen for the password lasts. Maybe it would be useful if the option can be set natively to unlimited instead of using a very high value. Currently the value 0:00:00 is invalid so maybe it could be an alias for unlimited.

No. There is no sensible reason that anyone would want the unlock dialog to stay on the screen for a week.
Also it will burn your screen. (Yes, this can still happen.)
