Bug Description

Sane & Simple Scan do not recognise Networked Samsung SCX-4729FD printer scanner. I have assumed that this is a fault with xsane. The printer prints OK. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit desktop. Relevant package details are:

To see if this is already resolved, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and advise to the results?
