Bug Description

Binary package hint: xresprobe

Resolution on stationary monitor is wrong. Set to 1024x768, should be 1280x960

Graphics card is:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV280 [Radeon 9200 SE] (rev 01)

Kernel in Feisty:
Linux duncan-desktop 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Wed May 23 01:46:23 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

Thanks for reporting this bug, however you've not provided enough information to debug this issue. Please attach your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log files, and the output from lspci -vvnn and xresprobe <driver>. Also, if possible please test this against gutsy-beta or newer, in case recent changes have fixed the issue.

Also the output from ddcprobe.

If you're using an LCD, I suspect this may be another case of bug 27667 (now fixed), but additional information would help prove this.
