Bug Description

Binary package hint: xrandr

I am using an nVidia card with three monitors using Xinerama. Beryl will not start because of "No RandR extension" so I ran xrandr directly from the command line and received this "Segmentation fault (core dumped)". When I query /var/log/Xorg.0.log, I find "RandR enabled" three times and "Initializing built-in extension RANDR" caused no problem.

I've seen this issue myself on triple head with nvidia.

Changed in xrandr:
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: Unconfirmed → Confirmed

Can you run xresprobe nvidia (or xresprobe nv if you're using the open source driver) and paste the results here.
Please also attach the result from running ddcprobe.

For me, on an amd64 with nvidia and triple-head, I got blank output from xresprobe, and ddcprobe segfaulted.
