Dear all, Quite some time ago, after posting the original bug report, I have found a patched version of xpdf that I now have put in the 'hold' status in my ubuntu/debian package management system. That particular version does not do the crashing as reported below, and I vaguely recall getting the patched version from the replies on this bug report. I have since then stuck to the patched xpdf version and I cannot test whether the original version, or rather now the ubuntu 12.10 version, still crashes. Indeed I did not send a pdf with the report, but at least 5 PDFs made that old version of xpdf crash and none of those made evince crash, so I am confident that the pdfs are fine. I realize that this makes debugging difficult. If it helps, my current -working version- pdf is called: xpdf_3.02-12ubuntu2nopoppler0_amd64.deb I do not recall where I got it from. Sorry for having no input for the debugging anymore. I have lost track and had to be pragmatic on solving my problem. thanks for all the attention. indium On Tue, Nov 20, 2012 at 05:26:29AM -0000, Logan Rosen wrote: > Changing back to Incomplete, as indium, the original reporter, has not > provided the PDF that causes this crash.
