xpdf, segmental fault

Bug Description

I use ubuntu 7.10. with xpdf, xpdf-chinese-simplified, xpdf-chinese-traditional, xpdf-common, xpdf reader, xpdf utils installed. When I open the pdf file "2001 note" on this webpage http://www.physics.uc.edu/%7Eargyres/661/index.html. Xpdf quit with segmental fault.

The problem happens on the second page. Maybe caused by the pdf file itself? But when I use ubuntu 7.04, it can be viewed by xpdf .

This bug does not affect the xpdf-intl project, which just appears to be a fork of xpdf.
