need 1024x780 res can't use submit on install

Can't install. Submit buttons are off lower screen. I didn't have this problem with 6.7 or 6.10 versions. Was able to get 1024 x 780 resolution with the earlier versions. Same equipment is being used. Everything else seems to work well.

Thanks for your bug report. This sounds more like a xorg problem, not identifying the right resolution. Reassigning.
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg (in the terminal) and changing the resolution should probably help.

Please attach /var/log/casper.log, /var/log/Xorg.0.log and /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

Like Daniel says, this seems to be a dupe of a bug with xorg not detecting the right resolution, probably because of incorrect sync rates. It'd be helpful to see the files Timo specified, but lacking those, I'm marking this as a dupe.
