Bug Description

Installed x11-common Version: 1:7.1.1ubuntu6

When executing "/usr/bin/X --version" or "/usr/X11R6/bin/X --version" I get the following:

I assume /etc/X11/X is a symlink to /bin/true? If so, reinstalling xserver-xorg should fix it, though I'm not entirely sure how it would have gotten (and stayed) in this state without digging around a bit...

Can you please report if this still occurs with Feisty or newer Ubuntu? Also, please attach your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log
