description |
After working with Edgy RC1 for certain period of time, using clipboard functions (Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V), it just stopped working:
(1) selecting text in gedit was not possible anymore; at first, I thought it was purely visual, but hitting Ctrl-C did not have any effect (seeable with Ctrl-V)
(2) selecting text from an about window did give me visual feedback that text was selected, but when pasting that text with Ctrl-V (after copying with Ctrl-C) revealed that the text was NOT copied.
Note: when hitting Ctrl-V, it pasted a PREVIOUS text, so it appears that the copy-mechanism is broken.

I'm sorry to have to do this, but since you cannot reproduce the bug and you do not have any logs of the crash since it did not crash, I am going to reject this bug. Thank you for your effort in trying to improve Ubuntu by submitting bugs and I encourage you to do so in the future. |
