When editing xorg.conf for logitech mouse, wacom settings are added, and I'm locked out of X server.

Bug #63445 reported by BLTicklemonster on 2006-10-01
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
xorg (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

If one were to follow the instructions to get logitech mouses to work in ubuntu dapper or edgy, wacom settings suddenly appear in xorg.conf and lock the user out of X. One must remove all sections of xorg.conf listing wacom tablet, eraser, and cursor. This is quite unsettling, seeing as I don't have any wacom drivers installed when I look at synaptic. This could cause some windows immigrants to become frustrated at seeing a broken X and not being able to correct it.

If you could, please follow this how to, and see if you can replicate this and see if it can be fixed:
