Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
This seems to be a new regression in the last few days of Karmic:
I have a thinkpad X61s with an intel driver. X basically works, but after a while, I think tied to the screensaver or inactivity, it hangs with the screen blank and powered off. I could ping the machine and see it's disk and network lights flashing so I think it was still alive, just unable to switch the screen on. Until this morning I didn't have an SSH server there so I couldn't get in that way. Pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1 didn't help.
