Philips 105MB monitor improperly detected

Bug Description

I use an old Philips 105MB monitor and ubuntu used it but it was improperly detected and I could only use 640x480 @ 60 Hz.

It takes going into /etc/X11/xorg.conf to change the horizontal and vertical refresh to get all the refresh rates. Which takes quite a bit of googling.

Thanks

Hi Giorgos,

What happens if you replace all the "1280x960" instances in your xorg.conf with "1280x1024" and restart X?
