Bug Description

I installed Intrepid Ibex Alpha 2 under a virtual machine under VMware Workstation 6.0.4 with MS Vista Business Edition as the host OS. After logging into the VM, every left click I do opens the trash. I cannot do anything else.

I'd give you more information if I could open up the Terminal but I can only open the trash at this time.

Experiencing the same problem under VMware Fusion on a Core Duo MacBook running Mac OS 10.5. Keyboard access works as usual.

Extra Info:
Although the mouse pointer moves around the (virtual) screen normally, it appears that the mouse coordinates being reported by X are always in the bottom right corner of the screen (where the trash-can is located).

This is evidenced by the fact that the tool-tip "No items in the Deleted Items folder" is permanently visible, irrespective of how the mouse/pointer is moved.
