Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg
Filed against xserver-xorg, since choosing Xdmx (which is recognized correctly) results in an error.
Hello,
for some unknown reason the packages xdmx and xdmx-tools are missing in hardy.
xdmx provides network distributed X multihead support, a feature i can not find in any other package or software. Please see discussion at [1]. The xdmx packages from gutsy ([2] and [3]) seem to work fine in hardy though. So there's no real reason I can see why the were removed.
Please provide these packages again in the future.

Thanks for your report. It seems that dmx was disabled since Debian xorg-server 2:1.3.99.0-1 because it failed to build and this ended up in Hardy. It was enabled again recently (after Hardy released): <http:// git.debian. org/?p= pkg-xorg/ xserver/ xorg-server. git;a=commitdif f;h=732faeda97c 84bfa2847f2da54 36ff6d72a15b69>
Maybe you can use the Hardy source package and just enable dmx and rebuild.
