X crashes for ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage LT Pro in a dual head scenario

I have the following _two_ video cards installed on my machine

VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage LT Pro (rev dc)
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)

On Gutsy I had a perfectly working Dual Monitor setup. The xorg.conf used in this setup is attached. But now with Hardy this does not work any longer, X crashes and this is the log

Sorry, Xinerama mode is no longer supported by either of those drivers.
