command "mkdirhier" missing in breezy

Bug Description

Until hoary, "mkdirhier" was delivered with the package xutils (
http://packages.ubuntu.com/hoary/x11/xutils )

It is not, however in xutils in breezy (
http://packages.ubuntu.com/breezy/x11/xutils ) and for that matter, it is not
found at all as an executable in breezy.

Search url:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/cgi-bin/search_contents.pl?word=mkdirhier&searchmode=searchfiles&case=insensitive&version=breezy&arch=i386

Not few of scripts and Makefiles depend on that command, so I suppose this is a
mistake.

What packages are actually using mkdirhier?

I don't know about packages, but I'm using it im my scripts and I saw makefiles
from others too, that used it. For me, it's important as end user.

different shell script that just calls mkdir -p on all its arguments uploaded.

in future, you should not rely on mkdirhier's presence; mkdir -p is present on
all POSIX-conforming systems.
