To add insult to injury, Xwayland is almost completely unusable - no night light, no screen dimming, no 3D rendering, mouse pad frozen/stuck half the time.

No issues with 23.04, nor any other version as far back as 21.10.

Other issue refers to VirtualBox/QEMU - this is occurred on a physical machine. Couldn't be any more different.
