[HP Pavilion x360 Convertible] Touchscreen Misbehaving After Upgrading to Ubuntu 21.04

I just upgraded from Ubuntu 20.10 to 21.04. After the upgrade, the touchscreen of my laptop has started registering random touch events when no touch input is actually being given by the user.
