cannot find proper graphics drivers and cannot install (NVIDIA Corporation GF117M [GeForce 610M/710M/810M/820M / GT 620M/625M/630M/720M])

in the additional driver, till the last update 20.10 i had option to choose the nvidia graphics diver. now after the upgrade to hippo i am unable to change the driver.
also cannot install drivers from command line as well.
while installing the latest or any other nvidia drivers had issues of mismatch packages and the install was broken every time i try.

Thanks for the bug report. It appears the correct driver for your Nvidia GPU is version 390.143 which does exist in hirsute. You can try installing it by:

  sudo apt install nvidia-driver-390

Also, you appear to have some unsupported graphics packages installed from the 'oidbaf' PPA, which is known to cause bugs. Please remove that PPA from your system.

Since the 'oibaf' PPA is likely the problem here I am going to close this bug. Please uninstall the PPA, reboot, and if the problem continues to occur then open a new bug.
