Bug Description
screen flickered after trying to unlock. The display got off after the lock timeout. and then whenever tried to unlock, screen would not wake up after mouse hover. only pressing enter works that too takes time. also need to type multiple time. It happen when the screen goes off without lock and need to on the screen. This time the screen flickering occurred and I had to force shutdown.

2) Is this something that started to happen after a package update? If so, which and when precisely?
