Bug Description
When using mpv to play a video fullscreen, when I try to resume the window from fullscreen, the screen freezes. Same thing happens when I use cheese. Nothing I can do except a hard poweroff.
I've manually upgraded my kernel with M-bab's build from 'https:/

Ven, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.
Given you are using an unsupported kernel, non-default kernel parameters, etc. if possible, it is best to get the computer in a stable state without WORKAROUNDs/ unsupported software, and then reassess this issue.
Hence, to see if this is already resolved in Ubuntu, could you please test http:// cdimage. ubuntu. com/daily- live/current/ and advise to the results?
