video card not recognized after install on my PC.-ubuntu 17.10

Bug Description
I have Intel G41 video card...which is recognized by all previous versions of Ubuntu,,but not recognized by Ubuntu 17.10...though the live CD version recognize it normally.it appear in system setting/about as unknown...this leads to very slow and laggy system.
