DVI-I being read as DVI-D and i have no picture

Bug Description

Hi!

I'm using Radeon R9 380X graphics card with two monitors. Before installing the radeon drivers, each of the monitors work properly. But after this, the DVI-D output is being read as DVI-I, and monitor attached to this port says "No signal". It only has a d-sub VGA input. The other monitors works fine.

By the way in practice, tho physycaly port itself is REALY a dual link DVI-D.

Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) reached end-of-standard-support on April 29, 2021.

I'm setting the status of this bug to 'Incomplete' as it's not seen any activity for some time. If this is still an issue when using a currently maintained release of Ubuntu then please let us know which one(s) otherwise this bug report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.
