I'm also getting this bug, which basically makes my laptop useless, as it hangs multiple times throughout the day, sometimes as often as only 15 minutes apart at random seeming intervals.

Here's the immediate problem though. This bug is marked as a duplicate, so I'm guessing it's unlikely to get any attention. The bug it's a duplicate of though, is marked as being invalid. It's not because it was fixed, but because it was around - unfixed - for so long that someone marked it as Invalid when a new release of Ubuntu came out. It has 21 people saying that they're affected.

So given that it's affecting me now, on the latest release of Ubuntu, where should I comment? On the Invalid marked bug, the duplicate of the invalid bug, or a brand new bug?
