Segfault in r300_dri when 2 monitors connected - Ubuntu 16.04.1

Hi,

I try to connect 2 monitors on an Xpress 1100/1150 video card, VGA and DVI output. If I connect one monitor all is good, doesn't matter on which output it is connected.

If I connect 2 monitors, in graphical mode, desktop is launched, background picture appears but nothing more: no desktop icons nor application launcher. The mouse cursor appears, goes normally from one screen to the other but no clic working.

In console mode, output is on both monitors.

In dmesg I see: compiz segfault at 8 ip NNNN sp other NNNN error 4 in r300_dri.so

Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) reached end-of-standard-support on April 29, 2021.
