create new folder, text display disapears

After the most recent upgrade (It is now January 15, 2017 at 2:45 EST), I right-click on the desktop. Then I select the "Create New Folder" value. When I select the "Rename..." value and then click on the text box, the monitor display disappears from view, although the keystrokes are recorded. The folder name appears after I press Return but I have no feedback from the monitor as I press they keyboard keys.

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) reached end-of-life on April 29, 2021.
