Bug Description

We tested the Kubuntu live-CD (kubuntu-5.04-live-amd64.iso) download version
08-April-2005 on the emachines T6212 in a popular consumer electronics outlet.
The system appeared to function normally until after the X-server screen loaded,
with the mouse driven X cursor responding normally for about 20 seconds and then
the system locked up and would not respond to Ctrl-Alt-Backspace or a system
restart.

We also tested the Ubuntu live-CD (ubuntu-5.04-live-i386.iso) on the emachine
T6212 in the same manner with the same results.
