Bug Description
If I start X when my monitor is turned off, it starts in a terribly low
resolution (I think it's 320*240), and I can't scal it up. If I start X with my
monitor turned on, it starts normally. I can repro this all the time.
Power off the monitor (leave it plugged into the computer)
Start up Ubuntu (or just start up X)
Power on the monitor when you know X has started
The resolution will be tiny
