Bug Description

In my desktop system Kubuntu 15.10 I have the integrated graphic card (Intel HD3000) and a discrete graphic card (Nvidia GTX 550). Some days ago I attached a monitor on the iGPU and enabled it, giving me a triple head system (two monitors on the Nvidia and one on the Intel). From that moment, the mouse pointer started to leave a trail when it pass over something that is animating. I'm using nouveau for the nvidia card. I tried to upgrade to Kubuntu 16.04, but it gives me the same glitch.

DjMix, to see if a WORKAROUND exists, could you please install a proprietary nvidia driver via Additional Drivers and advise to the results?

I've tried, but the proprietary nvidia driver can't enable the second GPU if the first (the integrated Intel) is already working, so I'm left with only one monitor and this glitch disappear (as it disappers if I disable the intel GPU and use only the nvidia one with the nouveou driver).

This glitch only happen if they are both enabled, in a dual gpu configuration.
Xorg is autodetecting all the configuration automatically.

I've tried nvidia-361-updates, but if I remember correctly the closed nvidia blob can't work with an open source driver in a dual gpu configuration.. right?

I have an Intel HD 400 Broadwell Video Card and this problem is present on Ubuntu Gnome but in Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu I don´t have it only a little glitch on the cursor certain times.

Gnome on Wayland session work perfect without this problem.
