Bug Description
Since kernel 70.113 came in I have to log in twice at start up. After the first log in the desktop screen appears for a few seconds then crashes back to a black screen and then the log in screen appears again. After the second log in the system works normally. This is Ubuntu 14.04LTS 64 bit version

Christopher,
Absolute nightmare. I used my dual boot setup to access Windows 8 and
update the BIOS and then had huge problems accessing Ubuntu, finally
using boot-repair since the BIOS upgrade had deleted the boot menu.
And after all that it has made absolutely no difference to the double
log in problem.
