Thank you for using Ubuntu and taking the time to report a bug. Your report should contain, at a minimum, the following information so we can better find the source of the bug and work to resolve it.

Submitting the bug about the proper source package is essential. For help see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . Additionally, in the report please include:

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'cat /etc/lsb-release' or System -> About Ubuntu.
2) The version of the package you are using, via 'dpkg -l PKGNAME | cat' or by checking in Synaptic.
3) What happened and what you expected to happen.

The Ubuntu community has also created debugging procedures for a wide variety of packages at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures . Following the debugging instructions for the affected package will make your bug report much more complete. Thanks!

Bah, sorry about that. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

For your specific issue, XorgLogOld.txt contains some repeated messages just before Xorg exits:

[ 63467.012] (WW) RADEON(0): flip queue failed: No space left on device
[ 63467.012] (WW) RADEON(0): Page flip failed: No space left on device

leex, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. To see if this already fixed in Ubuntu, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and advise to the results?

Rafael Jesus Alcantara Perez, it will help immensely if you filed a new report with Ubuntu by ensuring you have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for attaching additional debugging information running the following from a terminal:
ubuntu-bug xorg

Also, please feel free to subscribe me to it.

For more on why this is helpful, please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

Christopher M. Penalver, I've installed 16.04 and now the problem has gone. I can test it on weekends, but this weekend it is running fine (I've tested with one monitor and with two).
