Bug Description

once linux is loaded i have a black screen with mouse pointer on it. i have to disconnect and reconnect the vizio hd tv i am using computer monitor to make it work correctly and show splash screen to log in.

It occurs in the new ubuntu 15.04 with both unity and kde installed. I use
both for different purposes

It is connected in the standard way a monitor would be to one of my dual
graphics cards. I can`t get the standard drivers to use both cards.

Unfortunately, that provided no additional information. What would though is advising if it is VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc.
