leex, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. As there is a de-emphasis of support for 32-bit OSes upstream, could you please advise if this is reproducible via http://releases.ubuntu.com/trusty/ubuntu-14.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso ?
