Bug Description

Issue persistent but changes, depending on distro (Ubuntu - white stripes cover panel and dash; kubuntu - fails to update screen when resizing panel and performance issues; elementary - stripes randomly pop up after entering sleep mode and resuming, slow performance; mint - fails to draw certain charaters properly) which results in completely cutting me off from linux.

radeon driver description on x.org says card is supported.

- fglrx doesn't help but slows everything down significantly.
- drm doesn't show any errors/issues with graphics.

After searching, I've found several users with same problems, all on ATI x1250 (RS600M card) but nobody actually fixed it.

Ormiter, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Could you please provide the full computer model as noted on the sticker of the computer itself (not from the Bug Description)?
