Bug Description
[Testbed]
Hardware:
A Haswell platform laptop with an Amd Radeon R7 M265 graphics card. Connect an external monitor via HDMI port.
Software:
Ubuntu 14.04
xserver-
[Reproducer]
1. Press FN + hot key to change the display mode.
2. Watching the built-in monitor.
[Expect result]
there should be 4 modes:
Internal only -> extended mode -> mirror mode -> external only
[Actual result]
mirror-mode -> extended mode -> *black mode*[1] twice -> mirror mode -> internal only -> external only
[1]: black mode means, the screen is black, backlight works well. Nothing displayed. Only cursor showed. It moves if I touch my mouse.

100% with my laptop.
