Bug Description
Occasionally when resizing windows on Xubuntu 14.04, the desktop freezes and does not respond to keyboard presses or mouse clicks. When this happens, it is possible to switch to a virtual terminal and execute shell commands. This freeze does not happen everytime a window is resized, but it does happen approximately once per week.
The output from dmesg shows:
